A wonderful and evocative book about someone who took the plunge and changed their life. This is the story of how Chris Stewart came to buy a farm near Granada ... despite all the challenges he faces it makes me wish I was brave enough to do something similar. Reading about life in southern Spain is a great antidote to England in the winter!
I love this! It's the inspiring story of how one woman battles to salvage a small vineyard near Bergerac. Buying this was her husbands' dream, but when he falls ill soon after they arrive it is down to Patricia to drive the tractor, harvest the grapes and learn how to make the wine. A few years ago we were in France and drove to the vineyard, met Patricia and bought some of her wonderful wine.
